2021 was a banner year for Suki, and we are excited to kick off 2022 with recognition of our team’s innovative spirit. Suki’s digital voice solutions for physicians are making waves and recently gained recognition from the Business Intelligence Group’s BIG Innovation Award—an accolade honoring organizations and people that bring new ideas to life.

More and more, we’re seeing the promise that digital voice technologies hold for every aspect of patient care. At Suki, our flagship product, Suki Assistant, helps eliminate the administrative burden from physicians by reducing documentation time by more than 10 minutes per note.

What separates Suki Assistant from other voice solutions in the market is its ability to be personalized to each user. With artificial intelligence at its core, Suki can make recommendations to individual physicians to streamline content creation over time. For example, if a patient was previously diagnosed with diabetes, Suki may recommend adding the relevant “diabetes” diagnosis code to the note.

Suki leverages natural language processing capabilities to allow physicians to speak naturally, rather than memorizing rote commands. The digital voice assistant can even help physicians pull information from the EHR, such as the patient's medications or allergy list.  Physicians gain greater control of their time—critical to eliminating burnout.

In 2021, we also began to offer a proprietary voice platform, Suki Speech Platform (SSP), to our partners that wish to create a best-in-class voice experience for their solutions, like clinical communications companies. Today, Suki partners with these companies as well as EHRs, medical device companies, and more to power their voice experiences.

Another exciting development: the launch of a Windows version of Suki Assistant in late 2021. This offering distinguished Suki as the healthcare industry’s first end-to-end voice-enabled clinical digital assistant platform.

At Suki, our mission is to reimagine healthcare technology, making it invisible and assistive to lift the administrative burden from physicians. We’ve scratched the surface of voice-enabled innovation—with bigger innovations to come.

We’re delighted with the recognition that the BIG Innovation Award brings for the creative efforts of our team, and we look forward to continuing to harness the power of digital voice technologies to streamline clinical workflows, strengthen accuracy and improve patient outcomes.
