Dr. Ereso's Introduction to Suki Dr. Ereso makes a point of keeping apprised of innovations both in surgery and practice management. When a colleague told him about Suki, he was eager to learn more. "I was excited to try Suki. I could see how a solution like Suki really could make the paperwork side of medicine much easier," said Dr. Ereso. From his first experience, it was clear to Dr. Ereso that Suki could make a positive difference in his practice right away. "Suki captured my notes as I spoke, was able to pull snippets from previous notes and compiled it all into a concise and coherent patient note," said Dr. Ereso. "Early on, I could see that Suki was going to revolutionize notetaking in medicine." Integrating Suki into Practice Dr. Ereso found it easy to learn how to use Suki and was quickly up and running with Suki in his practice. Initially, Dr. Ereso used Suki during the patient appointment and would tell Suki to record parts of the discussion, but the free- flowing nature of conversations was a bit challenging to translate into a succinct, well-organized note. He modified his workflow to use Suki after patient appointments and found this worked extremely well. He could be fully present with patients, and used Suki to effectively capture notes right after patient visits. Early on, I could see that Suki was going to revolutionize notetaking in medicine. "It's very easy to dictate my notes to Suki. I'm able to talk naturally. Suki understands what I say and appends con- tent that is common across patient notes," said Dr. Ereso. He uses the Suki app on his iPhone, which gives him the freedom to work on notes anytime he has his phone. He no longer has to be tethered to his EMR and now completes all his notes at the end of his clinic day. " "
