Will accelerate growth of Suki’s team, user base and introduction of product features

REDWOOD CITY, CALIF— April 6, 2020 — Suki, which offers a voice-enabled digital clinical assistant leveraging Google Cloud artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) capabilities, today announced that it has received the 2019 Google Cloud Technology Partner of the Year for AI & ML award.

This award recognizes Suki, one of Google Cloud’s first partners offering a digital clinical assistant, for the company’s achievements in the Google Cloud ecosystem, using its voice technology to help joint customers save time on clinical documentation and other administrative tasks.  Clinicians spend significant time on administrative work and cite it as a top driver of physician burnout.

“In partnering with Google Cloud, our goal was to contribute to the collective advancement of AI and machine learning in the service of physicians to reduce burnout and support the practice of medicine. This recognition from Google Cloud indicates that Suki’s clinical digital assistant and its underlying technology are helping achieve those goals and providing value to enterprise health systems and physicians,” said Punit Soni, founder and CEO of Suki.

Suki is already used by physicians in health systems, medical groups, and practices throughout the country across dozens of specialties and in thousands of patient interactions every week. Across its user base, Suki has lowered physicians’ average time per note by 76 percent: from more than 13 minutes to just over 3 minutes. Additionally, Suki’s highly detailed clinical documentation has been shown to decrease claims denial rates by up to 19 percent, which is critical to health systems’ and medical groups’ revenue.

“We’re delighted to recognize Suki as our Partner of the Year for AI and ML,” said Kevin Ichhpurani, Corporate Vice President, Global Ecosystem at Google Cloud. “Suki has created an innovative solution, built on Google Cloud AI and ML capabilities, to help physicians save time on administrative work like data entry, and instead focus on patients. We’re proud to partner with Suki and look forward to continued innovation to help organizations apply AI and ML to solve business challenges.”
